February 25th, 2011-Cut aluminum with shears for gear cage and bent it to correct dimensions
March 1st, 2011-Worked on exhibit poster. Drilled holes in all my gears for the axels
March 4th, 2011-Worked on exhibit poster. Drilled hole for wires from electric motor and made holder for motor
March 9th, 2011-Updated CAD drawings. Worked on exhibit poster
March 14th, 2011-Worked on exhibit poster and looked online for high density polyethylene
March 18th, 2011-Ordered HDPE to create the pincers. Worked on exhibit poster
March 23rd, 2011-Outlined HDPE for cutting. Left early for sailing
March 25th, 2011-Cut HDPE into the four pincers. Created FPU outline

February Log 2/1 2/2 2/3 2/4
On the 1st and 2nd I helped my partners do some work in the lab, mainly Ryan with the control box. On the 3rd I revised the construction packet after talking to Ms. Green. Today, the 4th, I am working on the platform component for the connection between the claw and the ROV.

January Log 1/4, 1/6, 1/7
On Monday the 3rd I was absent. On the fourth, my group along with Joe Russel, went to the systems lab to test one of the motors to see how much force it could exert. Wednesday the 5th I was absent. Thursday the 6th I looked over some of my CAD drawings and made some adjustments. On Friday the 7th my team and Josh Wills tested the ballast tank for our ROV.
